Gentle Hands Mahima Charitable Trust was born from a quiet but burning conviction in the heart of Luke Govindasamy — that the love of Almighty God Jesus is not meant to stay inside church walls. It is meant to flow into the streets, the villages, the classrooms, and the humble homes of the forgotten and the overlooked.
The trust began with a simple question: "Who in Tamil Nadu is falling through the cracks?" The answer came swiftly — school children who could not afford books, college students whose dreams were halted by poverty, elderly men and women in villages who had no one to visit them, and young children in rural communities with no access to basic support.
Luke did not wait for permission or funding. He began with what he had — his hands, his heart, and his faith. One scholarship at a time, one coaching session at a time, one visit to one elderly home at a time, the Gentle Hands Mahima Charitable Trust took shape.

Today, GHM Trust operates across Tamil Nadu with coaching centres for school and college students, day care and outreach programmes for the elderly, and consistent support for village children. Every rupee given, every visit made, every scholarship awarded carries one message: You are seen. You are loved. God has not forgotten you.
